Despite being stylish it is also health-focused as being treated with an anti-microbial and anti-odor process that blocks bacteria builds upon it and it also does not allow foul odor to cling to it. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu gi was adapted from the uniform commonly used in modern Japanese martial arts, especially Kodokan judo. The Blue BJJ Gi is typically composed of a heavy cotton jacket, reinforced drawstring trousers, and a belt that communicates rank. According to article 8 of IBJJF rules, the gi must be constructed of cotton or similar material and be in good condition. The material may not be excessively thick or hard to the point where it will obstruct the opponent.
Traditionally, gi pants are made of a sturdy cotton canvas or denim with reinforced seams/knees. Tough and lightweight materials have started to become more popular in recent years as cooler hot weather gis has become more popular. It is common in tournaments to see competitors wearing ripstop pants with a standard cotton gi top.

The color blue was exactly as is shown. This is my first Blue gi.The A2 fits great. I asked my fellows how’s i looks in it “hot.” Yup, that’s the deal. I was a little concerned it might be too lightweight, just because of the price, but it feels very durable and ready to roll.

I have been doing BJJ for 10 months and the blue gi has held up nicely. It fits really well. It’s lighter than other gi I have. Color has remained for the most part with several washes so far. I mean you can tell it’s maybe a shade lighter but all even. I would purchase another.

I am a beginner in jiu-jitsu and its my first Blue gi, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money just yet. I decided to go for this item because it had a good rating and also the price was very competitive.
So, I went to the training in my new gi and everybody praised it for the overall quality, I am very happy with my purchase – even a classmate told me he is going to purchase the very same item

I am highly impressed with this Blue Bjj GI. I was concerned about the sizing as a bigger guy it is hard to find gi’s that fit well without being too baggy. But it fit almost perfect just needed minimal tailoring for the pant length. It does have the competition bagginess that is becoming more of the norm but overall highly satisfied.

Purchased this blue gi for my boyfriend’s first BJJ tournament and he absolutely loves it! It fits perfectly and is lightweight

This gi has turned out to be really solid. I’ve been wearing bravo gis for nearly a year and it hasn’t ripped or torn. Now having bought a few nicer gis I’m amazed at how well fits.Out of the few gis I have it’s easily the heavies and hottest. I’d probably get a discount gi on sale before buying this gi again, but it has been a reliable gi and I will continue to wear it until it falls apart.
